What happens to your page
Glisker is built to give you one honest read and then get out of the way. Here is exactly what we touch, what we keep, and what we never do. Last updated September 18, 2026.
What you give us
- A URL. We take a single screenshot of the public page you paste, using a screenshot service, and send that image to an AI model to write your read. The URL itself is not stored beyond short-lived logs.
- A screenshot. It is resized in your browser, sent to our server once, and passed to the model. We do not save the image. It is gone when your read is delivered.
- Your email, only if you type it into the “keep me posted” box. We store it to tell you when there is more room or a new plan, and for nothing else.
What we keep
- Shared reads. If you press Share, the text of that read (not the screenshot) is stored for 90 days so the link works. Anyone with the link can see it, so share it on purpose.
- Anonymous counts. How many reads ran per day, which sector they landed in, and a rough country. No names, no page contents.
- Rate-limit counters keyed to a hashed version of your IP address, which expire within a day. This is how the free limit works without accounts.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site. It sets its own cookies. We do not run advertising on Glisker. Your theme choice (light or dark) is saved in your browser only.
The AI model
Your screenshot is processed by Anthropic’s Claude API to produce the read. It is used to generate your result and is not used to train models.
What we never do
- Sell or share your screenshots, URLs, or email with anyone.
- Keep your screenshot after your read is delivered.
- Ask you to create an account or enter payment details.
